Growing up, I was always on the smaller side and struggled to gain weight. It made me feel like I wasn’t meant to grow, like I’d always just be “too small.” On top of that, I had a complicated relationship with food, which I didn’t realize was part of why I couldn’t gain properly. Seeing “perfect” images on social media only made my insecurities louder and shaped what I thought my body should look like. Deep down, I knew something wasn’t right, and as my vision for my body and strength grew, I realized I had to take control.
So, I joined a gym and started learning everything from strength training to understanding my relationship with food. The transformation went way beyond my body — my confidence shot up, I started loving myself, and I stopped chasing other people’s goals because I became the goal. I discovered that discipline wasn’t restrictive, it was empowering, and I fell in love with the journey itself.
